We take pride that we are a diverse community and welcome displays of pride in our different cultures. This event celebrates each other and helps everyone recognize that we are all global citizens living in Ridgewood.
This year’s theme is Flora & Fauna.
This year’s event will be one full day, May 23 (Rain date 6/2). Throughout the day the children attend the fair in the gym with their classes. Parents representing the various countries will be there engaging with the students and teaching them about their host country. The evening portion will occur on Somerville’s back field and will be open to all Somerville parents and students. Families will be able to visit all the countries, try their food and enjoy performances and traditional dances.

We have the following countries signed up so far: China, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Peru, Turkey, and USA.
An introductory meeting via Zoom will be on 3/24 that will aim to provide you with all the materials you will need to represent your country and get ready for the big day!
